UL warns of counterfeit UL Mark on immersion heater (Release 12PN-50)

Northbrook, IL - January 15, 2013 - The following is a notification to Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs), manufacturers, distributors and consumers that the Immersion Heater identified below bears a counterfeit UL Mark. The immersion heater has not been evaluated by UL to any Standard for Safety and it is unknown if it complies with UL safety standards.
